Why we like it
This is a single ingredient, no fuss fully focused ampoule made of 100% centella asiatic extract. Centella Asiatica – or gotu kola – has been used in folk medicine for hundreds of years. It’s traditionally used to improve small wounds, burns and scratches and it’s also a well known anti-inflammatory agent for eczema.
Recently science has taken an interest in Gotu Kola as well and it turns out it really has many active compounds with several benefits. Just for hard-core geeks, the main biologically active compounds are pentacyclic triterpenoid saponins called asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic and madecassic acid (also called centellosides).

I definitely noticed that my acne scars are also looking less angry within a matter of days🥰! What I also really appreciate is that it layers really well with other serums! It doesn’t feel sticky or tacky on the skin and it soaks in very well. The only reason I’ve given it 4 stars though is because I have some stubborn redness on my right cheek that isn’t going away right now, but perhaps more consistent use of this serum will yield the results I’m looking for!
