Absolutely great. I will definitely keep buying this mascara. I bought the volume curling and will also try the lengthening. And if it comes in brown I’d get that too! The wand hugs the lashes and separates, curls, very close to a delicate false lash effect (not dense and bulky) It will only clump around the third coat or if it has a chance to start drying in between (but one coat does the job just beautifully). No smudging or budging – for real – western “smudge proof” mascaras do not come close. It’s completely bulletproof. What you need to be prepared for when purchasing is that similar to some Japanese mascaras it doesn’t come off!! At all. No makeup remover or micellar water will get it off. After trial and error have discovered the ONLY way to do it is to apply oil cleanser like Hada Labo or Klairs to my lashes and leave it for about 5 minutes. Then finish my regular oil cleanse, and it seems to work. I doubt that doing similar with a balm would do the same. My suggestion is that the Clio mascara remover that goes with it should be added to the range. I know that one simply combs that on and then its slides off. I’d definitely buy the remover if it becomes available. In fairness the time taken to get it off is worth it for the performance, but you do need to be aware of it. Still earns 5 stars.
