This cream is extremely rich and was specifically developed for skin requiring serious hydration. It is Real Barrier’s signature cream. Despite the cream being rich and dense, it doesn’t feel heavy or occlusive on the skin. Once applied, it forms a thin moisturising layer on the skin but the skin still feels breathable. This cream is perfect for the dry and cold winter months for normal skin types and all-year round for dry skin types.

As with all of Real Barrier’s products, the cream contains a combination of specialty ingredients that help to repair your skin’s natural moisture barrier to deliver long lasting hydration. When your skin barrier is weakened, moisture inside of your skin evaporates, causing skin to dry out. This cream is also perfect for sensitive skin as it contains skin soothing ingredients such as panthenol, madecassoside and allantoin.

The cream aims to protect and strengthen your skin barrier with patented, dual ceramides and further moisturises with hyaluronic acid and panthenol. The complex blend of madecassoside and allantoin effectively combine to soothe and provide immediate comfort to irritation, all while delivering deep hydration to the inner layers of your skin.

The Multi-Lamellar Emulsion (MLE) technology mimics the skin’s naturally occurring lipids providing a uniquely effective solution for chronically dry and extremely sensitive skin. The missing lipids of dry, irritated skin is physically replaced by the plant-based oils and extracts in MLE to seal the skin and protect it from further evaporation. With a healthy skin barrier, other ingredients like brightening and anti-ageing ingredients can become more effective.

Holy Grail for the more wintery days! I tried this amazing cream out when I bought the mini travel kit. If you have dry skin this is definitely the cream for you. Can’t wait to purchase the full size!
